The Band

A 4 piece covers band from Cambridgeshire. The 142s is made up of experienced musicians with a passion for playing live, with loads of energy and songs that will make you want to get up and dance all night long.


Jude – Lead & Backing Vocals

An experienced vocalist Jude has always loved singing, her broad vocal range has given her the versatility to sing songs from musical theatre, jazz & swing, rock & pop and more. One of Jude’s favourite genres is Jazz & Swing, in 2015 she started gigging solo and has sung at weddings & restaurants providing a great atmosphere with her choice of jazz & swing songs.
Together with her passion for singing and experience she will bring another dimension to the band and help contribute to the next chapter of The 142s.

Jude currently uses Shure Mics and Planet Waves cables.

Drew – Guitar / Vocals

Drew started playing guitar at 18, a self-taught guitarist whose influences include Angus Young (AC/DC), Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page (Led Zep) and various other superstars of guitar fame.
An experienced guitarist / vocalist who has performed in various bands over the past 25 years.
Today he is an integral part of The 142s, providing solid rhythmic guitar, confident lead solos, strong lead and backing vocals.

Drew currently uses: Fender Guitars, Marshall Amps, Shure & Sennheiser Mics, Planet Waves cables, Boss and some other wicked pedals.


Jamie – Bass Guitar / Vocals

Jamie is the newest member of the band, joining in early 2017. Providing solid bass lines and a keen eye for detail he brings to the band a new sound and fresh ideas.

Jamie has years of experience playing live as well as sound engineering and studio recording.

Jamie currently uses: Fender Bass’, Mark Bass & Trace Elliot amps, Boss, TC Electric, Aguilar, DoD, Ernie Ball strings, Dunlop pics, Planet Waves, Shure and ACS custom hearing protection.


Andy – Drums / Vocals
Self taught at 6 on a marching band snare drum, Andy was hooked and by 13 had bought his first proper kit, a 7 piece Pearl Export copy! With a few minor repairs it still plays as well as it first did nearly 35 years ago.
Rockabilly, 1950s/60s, Blues and the Theatre have all featured heavily over the years which still influences his playing style to this day. Nothing fancy, strong tight rhythm and the occasional fill.

Andy currently uses: Mapex Drums, Zildjian Avedis Cymbals, Roland V-drums, Vic Firth Sticks and Shure Mics.
